Attendance is Essential

Attendance Importance!

Student success is directly tied to attendance, and district funding is also. This means that every absence is both a missed opportunity for learning, and lost revenue for our school district. Loss revenue means fewer resources to educate our children. The first 14 weeks of the school year (until Nov 21st) are weighed heavily in the State Funding Formula. A difference of 1% can mean thousands of dollars to the district. Our district goal is a 97% average. Please join us in promoting the importance of improved attendance.

Thank You,
