Mrs, Landon is now in her 3rd Year at West Jefferson. She has done an outstanding job in turning our Junior High Math program around. She has high expectations for her students, but will o the extra mile to help them. She teaching a full day without a prep period, taking on the extra classes needed for kids to succeed. She has been busy implementing the common core standards. This has not been an easy task. Students in 7th Grade and 8th Grade performed very well on the Spring 2015 ISAT Math test. Thanks very much for your extreme hard work and dedication Mrs. Landon. Dwight Richins- Superintendent

I grew up in Lewisville, Idaho where I learned to love country life. As a child I spent many happy days riding my bike, playing in the water filled canals, making forts in the tall grass, and climbing apple and plum trees, while of course eating the fruit of those trees, just to name a few. I learned how to work hard and how important family is.
Family was always the center of my life. I was one of seven children and my mother one of eleven children. There was not a holiday, or weekend for that matter, that didn't involve doing something with family. One holiday that was always special was Memorial Day weekend. Our family would pack for a weekend of camping with our grandparents and all the aunts, uncles, and cousins. What a grand event.
I have been happily married for twenty-six years and have five beautiful children and three grand children. I love spending time with my family. I have especially loved watching my children and grandchildren explore the world and learn as they grow. I enjoy being outside and like to go camping, biking, hiking, and walking. I especially enjoy being in the mountains exploring and enjoying nature. My hobbies include: baking (of which I am famous for my sugar cookies), reading, scrapbooking, sewing, crotcheting, quilting and cleaning. Oh, and of course sometimes in my spare time I do like to solve challenging math problems just for fun.
