West Jefferson students at both Hamer and Terreton Elementary Schools had remarkable experiences as local police officers visited our schools! The officers not only took time to eat with our students, but they learned from and played with the officers.
It was a memorable opportunity for all, including our own Officer Keller and the other deputies, as they interacted with our students. For our students, it was good to see officers as friendly and approachable.
The fun continued at recess, where officers joined the students on the playground and enjoyed games, races, and even a game of catch!
We want to thank all the officers who attended and appreciate you taking the time out of your busy day to visit West Jefferson Schools.
