Weekly Athletic Schedule for March 31 - April 5, 2025
Coach Higgs had a great turnout with West Jefferson athletes coming to work with him during Spring Break! This performance coaching is available at no cost to the students (or parents) other than your time and effort!
Coach will be working with our spring sports teams first and then starting at 6:00pm, he will work with any West Jefferson student that wants to improve their athletic performance.
(Due to another obligation on Monday night, Coach will need to end earlier.)
With Spring Break this week, Coach Higgs has a different schedule for us, but he wanted to make sure those that were wanting to keep up with their workouts were able to do so!
This would also be a great opportunity to come for the first time to see what this is all about or to do your "at-home" work out that your track coach might have assigned to you for Spring Break!!

6th-8th Graders are invited to participate.
This season will have one meet each week for four weeks. Then on the fifth week, there will be a district championship meet.
Sorry for the late post this week. We were waiting on some clarification of the schedule.
Coach Higgs' open session will need to end at 6:45pm this week to clear the Legacy Gym before the High School Play starts.

There was a change in the schedule from when we posted this early in the week.
Thursday has been CANCELLED and Friday has been added. The High School students are scheduled for 10-11:00am. The Junior High students are welcome to come on Friday at 11:00am to get started with Coach Higgs' Athletic Training Program.

Our Junior High Boys Basketball team will compete in their district tournament on Saturday, Feb. 15th at Firth High School.
West Jefferson will play Firth in Game 2 at 11:30am.
NOTICE:
The JH Boys Basketball team will switch and have the 8th Grade play first at 3:00pm in the Panther Den.
