At yesterday’s Regular School Board Meeting (3/11/26), Mr. Williams shared several topics with the board that can also be discussed at the upcoming P.A.W. Meetings if attendees would like to cover those topics. A "P.A.W. Meeting" is a Parent & Patron Advisory Workshop. It is an open meeting for anyone who would like to be involved with our school district.
If you have concerns or suggestions, we encourage you to attend one of these meetings. The P.A.W. Meetings are a great opportunity to ask questions, receive answers, and share your input.

Congratulations to McKenley, Justus, and Boedi for being invited to participate in the Senior Showcase!

Chayse just finished serving a six-week term as an Idaho Senate Page during the 2026 legislative session at the Idaho State Capitol. Pages work 40 hours a week assisting lawmakers while still completing their regular schoolwork during evenings and weekends.
During her time at the Capitol, Chayse was serving with Senator Jim Guthrie, helping with meetings, paperwork, and the daily operations that keep the Senate running. She says the experience was “fantastic” and has given her a deeper appreciation for public service and the dedication Idaho lawmakers have for their communities.
One important thing Chayse said she’s learned through the Page program, is that Idaho Lawmakers are just every-day, regular people. “Most people look at politicians and think that they’re so far removed and don’t know us. So it was shocking seeing how much they do and how much they care,” she stated. “They have so much passion and heart, and they have lives and families. It’s humbling.”
Chayse is the daughter of John and Blythe Van Eps of Monteview. She has been heavily involved throughout high school in Student Council, National Honor Society, Distinguished Young Women, Idaho Girls State, and BPA where she serves as a State Officer. These experiences have helped prepare her for this incredible opportunity.
At the end of the six weeks, Chayse was invited to sing in front of the Senate at the Senate Page Graduation. She sang a beautiful rendition of America the Beautiful.
Chayse shared her gratitude for her community, who have shown her endless support in all of her endeavors, and gives a special thanks to Idaho Senator Van Burtenshaw, who sponsored her application to the program.
We are proud of Chayse for taking advantage of this incredible opportunity to learn, lead, and serve!
Chayse was recently featured in an article printed in The Jefferson Star newspaper. Click here to read the full article:
