If you’ve driven past our Terreton School Campus lately, you’ve probably noticed construction happening—and we’re excited about the improvements being made in our schools!
Most of the work is nearing completion, although a few finishing touches will continue after school begins. Please see the image for the project timeline and expected completion dates.
Once everything is finished, we will have newly remodeled restrooms in:
• Terreton Elementary School
• West Jefferson Junior High School
• West Jefferson High School
We’re also remodeling the P.E. changing rooms/locker rooms at West Jefferson High School.
We appreciate everyone’s patience while these improvements are completed and look forward to our students and staff enjoying the updated spaces!

School Registration for all West Jefferson School District Schools is happening August 10 & 11!
Come to pay fees and receive help with filling out online registration forms. (You can start the online form process by logging into your parent PowerSchool account and click on "Forms" and then "Enrollment Forms.") If you need help with logging into PowerSchool, contact Mr. Gemar at davidgemar@wjsd.org or Mr. Reyna at reynaj@wjsd.org.
Check your email for more detailed information about how to log into PowerSchool and how to fill out the online forms!! Make sure the emails didn't go to your spam folder! If you didn't receive emails from the school in the past 2 weeks, you have some updating to do on your school contact information! Come to registration, and we can help you!
Our Transportation Department and Food Service Department will be present to help with bus and lunch information.
Instead of buying school supplies in-store, K-6th grade students have the option to pay a $20 Supply Fee, and the school will provide all of their school supplies.
For Junior High and High School Students, we recommend buying a notebook for each class period (7) and pencils. Any other needed supplies will be determined by which classes they are signed up for. Students will find out more information about what they might need during the first couple of days of school.

Our Cross Country Coaches are having a meeting for students who are interested in running cross country this fall. They will go over summer plans for the team and introduce our new assistant coach, Andra Bitter.

The Fifth Graders of Terreton Elementary will be participating in a Science Fair. The community is welcome to come to the ALC Building on Wednesday, May 27th, between 2:00 and 3:00 pm to see their science projects.

Our High School Football Program has scheduled their youth football camp fundraiser for Tuesday, May 19, from 4:00pm-6:00pm. All kids from Kindergarten through 7th grade are invited!! Please help us spread the word!!
Participants do NOT need to sign up ahead of time, but they will need to bring a signed liability waiver with them to camp on Tuesday.
Payments can be made with cash, check (written to WJHS - Football), or by sending a Venmo payment to @WJHS_253 with the description "Football Camp - ( first & last name of participant )." Please make sure payments are made before the start of camp.
