West Jefferson Volleyball: This Fall, we will be opening up the 7th grade volleyball team to 6th graders also. That means that our camp on July 29th-31st and Jr. High tryouts on August 13th will also include 6th graders. 6th graders will need a sports physical before they can tryout. So if you have a 6th grader or know of one, please pass on this information! Volleyball Open Gyms are starting Monday, July 1st for all 6-12 Grade girls. The Parent Involvement Survey is your chance to give input about how well your student's school has involved you in their education. If you receive a Parent Involvement Survey from the Department through email or mail, please take a few minutes to complete the survey. Keep an eye out; surveys will be sent out during the first week of June from the address noreply@experience.idaho.gov.   Tell us about your experience. High School Cheer Tryouts for 8th-11th graders will be held May 15th from 6:00 - 8:00pm. Open gyms will be May 2nd & May 8th from 5:30pm-6:30pm at the ALC.

Youth Football Camp - Saturday, May 11th - 9am-1pm. Sign-up now by sending a Venmo payment labeled "Football Camp" & the player's name(s). Sign-ups will be open until the morning of the camp. Cash payments can also be made on the day of the camp instead of Venmo.

JH Track will have their first meet on Wednesday, April 3rd at Ririe.

Junior High Track & Field practice will begin after Spring Break! Any interested 6th-8th graders will start track practice on Monday, April 1st right after school. A parent meeting will be held at 5:15pm. First meet is Wed. April 3rd, so it's important that athletes attend Monday and Tuesday practices. We’ve seen our amazing parents fill the gym for a game, the auditorium for a play, and stands for a football game!  The question is can we fill the auditorium for a meeting about some awesome academic things we have going on at the high school that trickles down to the junior high? We are excited to present “Destination Success!” The first of a few parent meetings we have coming up in our Destination to Success series!  Who is Invited: Parents of students grades 6-11, students grades 6-11, and anyone else who might benefit from this information!  When: Tuesday, March 19th @ 6:30pm!  Where: WJ High School Auditorium  What: Come learn more about advanced opportunities, our new math program pathways, and how those are connected to our CTE classes, and learn about our CTE pathways and clubs! District Champs! Our 8th Grade Boys Basketball team went into the District Championship today as the #1 Seed and clinched the top honor with big wins over North Fremont and Firth. Awesome job, boys!
