Even though the election isn't until November, all candidates have to file their paperwork between August 18-29

Coach Higgs' Schedule for the week of July 21-24, 2025. Please be mindful of the high school hallway floors and Panther Den hallway floors that are being cleaned and waxed. Do not walk on those floors!

IMPORTANT MESSAGE!!

While the new track is being installed and the track material is setting up in the evenings, we need EVERYONE to stay off the track and football field. No one should have any reason to enter the fenced area. The anticipated day of completion is Monday, August 4th, depending on the weather.

Also, we have had community members using our facilities to walk their dogs. We have already had to clean dog poop off our brand-new football turf. This is unacceptable! Responsible pet owners would not allow their animals to defecate on school property where our kids are going to be playing. If anyone sees this happen, please report it to the district office immediately!

Here is Coach Higgs' workout for the week of July 14 - 17, 2025!

Tuesday's sprints will be in the Panther Den, Thursday's sprints will be in the parking lot!

With the installation of the new track, please stay on the outside of the fence surrounding the football field and track until at least Monday, August 4th (weather permitting.)

High school sports start in less than a month! If you haven't been doing summer workouts, now is the time to start!!

We are still waiting for the final HS & JH Cross Country Schedules, which are usually confirmed as we get closer to the season.

After talking to the athletes at his workout tonight, Coach Higgs decided to cancel the workout tomorrow, July 3rd, since most of the kids said they would be with family or out of town.

Sign-ups are open for a youth dance camp for Berkley Pancheri's Senior Project! Classes will be held at Hamer Elementary School. Ages 3-5 9:00AM - 9:45AM 6-8 10:00AM - 11:00AM 9 and up 11:00AM - 12:00PM

Two FREE opportunities each day to improve as an athlete!!! Monday through Thursday.... Coach Hall in the morning and Coach Higgs in the evening! Don't let these opportunities pass by and then wish you had worked more than your opponents did in the off-season! (Incoming 7th and 8th graders are welcome to come to the Weight Room every morning. Evening workouts for junior high are as scheduled on the first image!)

Linda Smuin and Michelle Spencer want to help kids stay physically active this summer! They will be having a free weekly activity night for all kids in first grade and up! There will be a short motivational message and then everyone will play a game. This is open to all kids and teenagers in our community. Meet at the Mud Lake City Park at 5:30pm every Thursday beginning June 12th. Kids will need to be picked up at 6:30pm sharp! For those interested (ages 12 and up), Linda and Michelle will then lead a group on a run together, starting at 6:30pm after the activity.

Next year's cross country athletes: Coach Smuin and Coach Spencer will be holding a SHORT meeting for everyone interested in running on the junior high and high school cross-country team next fall. Meet at the track!
