Weekly Athletic Schedule for Jan. 22-27, 2024
We have 2 Senior Nights this week.
On our day full of basketball on Thursday, the Panther Den will be cleared after the 8th grade game and the regular admission table will be set up for entrance into the high school games. (All regular season passes, discounts, and activity cards will be honored as usual.)
Weekly Athletic Schedule - Jan. 15-20, 2024
Due to extreme windchill conditions, West Jefferson will have a 2-hour delayed start - Tuesday, January 16th. School will end at regular time.
No AM Preschool or Kindergarten.
This conference GBB game is still scheduled to happen tonight!

Tonight's (Fri, Jan. 12th) WJ JH Mary Poppins Jr. Play will still be happening at 6:00pm.

*Tutoring Day for today is canceled.
*Ski School is canceled for today and rescheduled for Feb. 9th.
*HS Girls Wrestling at Madison is canceled for Friday, still on for Saturday, Jan. 13th.
*HS Boys Wrestling at Wendell is canceled. They plan to wrestle at Madison on Saturday, Jan. 13th.
*Tonight's JH Mary Poppins Play will be showing at 6:00pm as originally scheduled.
*Tonight's HS Girls Basketball Game is still on as scheduled.
Our West Jefferson Booster Club is holding their annual Blue & White Dinner on Monday, January 22nd at 6:30pm at the ALC Gym.
Come enjoy dinner (free, but donations are welcome!), entertainment, and raffle.
Raffle rickets can be purchase ahead of time and on the night of the drawing.

HS & JH Weekly Athletic Schedule - Jan. 8-13, 2024
EDITED TO ADD: The Home Boys Basketball Game on Thurs, Jan. 11th starts at 4:30PM with our C-Team. (Not 6pm as posted previously.)
We are excited to announce that Cory Hall has been offered the position of West Jefferson High School's Head Football Coach. He has named Jason Taylor as the Defensive Coordinator and Dave Hadley as the Offensive Coordinator. Additional assistant coaches will be determined by Coach Hall.
Our Junior High Boys' Basketball season is beginning this week with away games.
With only four 7th graders showing interest in playing basketball this year, following the Junior High Conference rules, the tryouts were opened up to include 6th graders. We are grateful that we are now able to field two full teams with an 8th-grade team and a combined 6th/7th-grade team.
Only one week until show time!
