Remember, the breakfast and lunch menus are in the dining section of our app. Any changes to the menus throughout the month should be updated there.

Where: at the hill by the High School
Who: All Students K-6
What: We will be going down the giant waterslide
What to Bring: Sunscreen, a towel, and a change of clothes if you want to change.
*Please also remember swimsuits for girls must cover your stomach, and boys must always have a shirt on.
Pictures will be taken first thing on Tuesday morning; we will have the waterslide later in the afternoon!

We are using a new photographer this year! We are excited to have Josh Petersen Photography here to take school photos.

Please note: The order form says that you need to order a package in order to purchase add-ons. After clarification from the photographer, you can buy items off the add-ons list WITHOUT purchasing a package. Just indicate that on the form. Also, if you have more than one child, you can write one check for all children, just write it on the order form. The more you communicate, the less confusion.

Bus message for parents and students using the bus stop near Sage Junction.
If parents are not at the bus stop on time in the morning, they will need to drive their kids to school.
If parents are not at the bus stop in the afternoon, Nyla would need to keep the students on the bus and meet the parents somewhere else on the route.

2023-24 School Year School Meal Prices
Did you know that a portion of the Federal Funding our schools receive is based on the Free & Reduced Meals Applications that are submitted by the families in our school district? This funding pays for Intervention Staff (Paraprofessionals/Aides), Intervention Programs, and helps us qualify for Grants for our schools.
Due to the increase in the cost of food items, our school board approved a small increase to this year's meal prices. As you will notice, there is a big difference in the cost of the "Free & Reduced Meals." In order for your children to qualify for FREE or Reduced Price Meals, parents/guardians MUST fill out a Free and Reduced Meals Application EVERY SCHOOL YEAR. If no application is received, the full price for meals will be charged.
The 2023-24 Free & Reduced Meal Application is NOW AVAILABLE. Parents/Guardians may fill out the online application or a paper application available at Registration or at the Lunchroom.

When we get closer to school starting and throughout the year, you will find the daily breakfast and lunch menus are the WJSD App and Website.
Also, our elementary schools have qualified again for the Fresh Fruits and Vegetables Grant. Free fruits and vegetables will be available for students to snack on during their last recess each day.
Are you having trouble with all of this online registration stuff? We will still have In-Person Registration at the ALC Building for those who do not want to do it at home. You will still need to do the online portion, but we will have people at registration to guide you through it.

At a recent meeting, our West Jefferson Board of Trustees approved next year's school calendar. We will be doing a Semester schedule.

Terreton Elementary Students were able to enjoy a fun field day on Tuesday, May 16th. The weather was perfect and the students had a blast!
Our awesome and amazing lunchroom staff and school board members served lunch to all of the staff and students on Tuesday, May 16th. This has become an annual tradition that everyone enjoys.
