The 2024-25 WJSD Calendar has been approved by our Board of Trustees.

If you are a parent of a student receiving special education services, the Idaho Department of Education wants your feedback. The Parent Involvement Survey is your chance to give input about how well your student's school has involved you in their education.
If you receive a Parent Involvement Survey from the Department through email or mail, please take a few minutes to complete the survey.
Keep an eye out; surveys will be sent out during the first week of June from the
address noreply@experience.idaho.gov.
Tell us about your experience. Your input can help improve parent involvement in Idaho.

Dear Parents/Guardians and Students
ISAT testing will be taking place at our school this week.
Beginning Monday, April 8th, our third through sixth-grade students will participate in the ISAT (Idaho Standard Achievement Test) testing in Math and Reading.
Additionally, our fifth-grade students will also be required to take a Science assessment.
The ISA testing is an essential tool to measure your child's academic progress and provides valuable insights into their strengths and areas for improvement.
By participating in these assessments, we aim to ensure that each student receives the support they need to thrive academically.
To help your child perform their best during the testing period, I encourage you to ensure they get a good night's rest the day before the tests and have a nutritious breakfast.
Please reassure your child that these assessments allow them to showcase their skills and knowledge. They shouldn't be stressful and are shorter this year than last year.
Remind them to approach the tests calmly and confidently and to do their best without feeling pressured.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding the ISAT testing or need additional support for your child, please do not hesitate to contact us.
We are here to support both you and your child throughout this process. Thank you for your continued support in your child's education.
Mr. Johnson
