We are still waiting for the final HS & JH Cross Country Schedules, which are usually confirmed as we get closer to the season.

Our Regular School Board Meeting will be held Wednesday, July 9, 2025. Executive Session will begin at 9:00am followed by Regular Session starting at approximately 10:00am.

Here is Coach Higgs' schedule for the week of July 7-10, 2025!

After talking to the athletes at his workout tonight, Coach Higgs decided to cancel the workout tomorrow, July 3rd, since most of the kids said they would be with family or out of town.

Enjoy your holiday weekend and let's hit it hard on Monday, July 7!

The West Jefferson District Office will be closed on Thursday, July 3, 2025. We will be open again on Monday, July 7.

No pre-registration required. Payment can be made on the @WJHS_253 Venmo account (please list participant's name in the description) or by paying cash or check on the day of the camp.

Coach Higgs' schedule for the week. The old track has been removed. On Tuesday & Thursday, sprints will be on the new turf. Please wear football or soccer cleats, or athletic shoes. No track spikes allowed on the new turf.

The West Jefferson School District Office will be closed for cleaning. We will return to our regular hours, Monday-Thursday 8:00am to 4:00pm on Monday, June 30.

Sign-ups are open for a youth dance camp for Berkley Pancheri's Senior Project! Classes will be held at Hamer Elementary School. Ages 3-5 9:00AM - 9:45AM 6-8 10:00AM - 11:00AM 9 and up 11:00AM - 12:00PM

Two FREE opportunities each day to improve as an athlete!!! Monday through Thursday.... Coach Hall in the morning and Coach Higgs in the evening! Don't let these opportunities pass by and then wish you had worked more than your opponents did in the off-season! (Incoming 7th and 8th graders are welcome to come to the Weight Room every morning. Evening workouts for junior high are as scheduled on the first image!)

West Jefferson Juniors and Seniors have the opportunity next Spring to go on the American Heritage Educational Tour. We are posting this as a "save the date" in case students would like to attend; they have time to save up for this incredible experience!
