Here is the final issue of this school year's 'Panther Press!' WOW!!! What a memorable year this has been! Our staff and students really made this year one to remember! Congratulations to our 2023 Graduates who graduate tonight at 7 pm. As one chapter ends, another begins! All of us here at West Jefferson wish you all the adventure, happiness, success and blessings to come! To our incoming Freshman, Sophomore, Junior and Senior classes- we hope you have a fantastic summer, stay safe and healthy and we will see y'all in August!!!

At a recent board meeting, our West Jefferson Board of Trustees approved next year's school calendar. We will be doing a Semester schedule.

WOW! The future is bright for another chance at state for three of these athletes. For our Senior, Creed Jacobs, this was his first year of track EVER. They all did such an awesome job!

Our Softball Team lost their game against Cole Valley Christian 5-6. That loss has put us out of the State Tournament.

State Softball Update:
West Jefferson (ranked #6) lost 0-1 to Nampa Christian (ranked #3) in their first game.
WJ immediately turned around and played St. Maries (ranked #2) and we won 7-0.
WJ will play at 5:00pm tonight (Friday) against the loser of Cole Valley (ranked #4) vs. Malad (ranked #1.)
Cheer Tryouts Extended - Sat. May 20.
Our cheer coaches have added another opportunity for those who were not able to make it to tryouts earlier this week.
Congratulations are in order to the Track members who are on their way to Boise (Middleton) to compete in the State Track Meet. We are so proud of their accomplishments and wish them all the luck at placing in State! Go get 'em Panthers!!
