2/23/23 - Day 1 State Wrestling Update
Our wrestlers made it to Nampa Wednesday and will begin wrestling at the state tournament at 9:00am on Thursday, Feb. 23. We plan to post an update at the end of each day.
Each mat will be broadcast separately on NFHS Network. A paid subscription is required. Go to their website or app and search "2023 IHSAA Wrestling" to bring up the list. 2A Wrestlers will be on mats 7-12.

HS Boys Basketball Meeting Wed. Feb. 22 @ 5:00pm
Our Wrestling State Qualifiers have finally been announced! Our coaches have been waiting on the official word about our wildcards and just heard this morning on the final one. Congratulations to these amazing athletes!
We will have a State Send-off for them on Wednesday, Feb. 22 at 9:10am as they depart for Nampa for their State Tournament.
The State Wrestling Tournament begins on Thursday, Feb. 23rd at the Ford Idaho Sports Center. Good luck wrestlers!

District Wrestling finishes up and West Jefferson came away with a lot of medals! Check out this 2-page list of winners! We will find out Sunday the final list of State Qualifiers. Great job guys! Way to represent West J!!
Our Boys Basketball team will travel to North Fremont for their next district game.

Jefferson County Road and Bridge has let our district know that there is no way they will be able to clear roads in time for buses even if we were to try a delayed start so the decision has been made to cancel.
District Wrestling has been postponed to Friday, Feb. 17.
Regular School Board Meeting - Thursday Feb. 16. Executive Session Begins at 12:00pm followed by Regular Session at approximately 1:30pm.

All Schools in the West Jefferson School District will have a 2-hour delayed start time today, February 14. Bus Routes and Classes start 2 hours later than regularly scheduled. The school day will end at the regular time.
