Coach Higgs welcomes West Jefferson students to come work with him in the West J Legacy Gym/Weightroom this week on the days listed on the image.
You do not currently have to be playing sports to participate.

West Jefferson High School's Wrestling Team is presenting it's 3rd Annual Blacklight Mania! (Proceeds from this event will go towards wrestling camp and other needs for the team.)
Monday, March 17th, 2025 at 6:00pm in the Panther Den.
This event gets bigger and better every year! Check out these match-ups! Entrance will be $5 per person at the door!
If wrestling isn't quite your thing, bring your family to come eat dinner. Loaded baked potatoes and homemade treats will be available for purchase!

Junior High Track
6th-8th Graders are invited to participate.
This season will have one meet each week for four weeks. Then on the fifth week, there will be a district championship meet.

WJHS Juniors will be taking the SAT test on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at 8:05am, in the ALC Gym. This test is paid for by the state and meets the WJHS requirement to complete a college entrance exam before graduation. ALUMNI / WJ COMMUNITY WRESTLERS WANTED!
We need people who want to wrestle the members of the 2024-25 high school wrestling team!
Wrestlers have been asking family members to wrestle them at this event, but some haven't been able to find anyone to take on that challenge. Coach Rogers is now opening it up to alumni or anyone in the community who wants to relive their glory days!
If you think you have what it takes, please contact Coach Triston Rogers, Coach Ron Eliason, Coach Peter Fisher, or Coach Kristin Carpenter and let them know you want to sign up! (Feel free to tag people who you think would be great for this!)
It should be a fun evening of entertainment, music, food (baked potato bar, baked goodies) and much more.

Coach Higgs' open session will need to end at 6:45pm this week to clear the Legacy Gym before the High School Play starts.
