7th-12th grade class schedules are viewable in PowerSchool and I will be at the High School office this week to make any change requests. Please see the schedule below:
Tuesday, July 30 - 8th and 12th grades (7:00am - 4:30pm)
Wednesday, July 31 - 7th and 11th grades (6:00am - 3:00pm)
Thursday, August 1 - 10th grade (7:00am - 4:30pm)
Friday, August 2 - 9th grade (7:00am - 4:30pm)

For my senior project this year I am holding a basketball camp. I have had a love for basketball since a young age and want to share what I know with others. At this camp, we will have drills that focus on shooting, ball handling, defense, and passing. We will also have competitions and some pretty cool prizes!
All the proceeds from this camp will go to the Ben and Melissa Briggs family as they fight their battle with cancer. They are such good people and I want to help them out as much as possible.

West Jefferson Volleyball:
This Fall, we will be opening up the 7th grade volleyball team to 6th graders also. That means that our camp on July 29th-31st and Jr. High tryouts on August 13th will also include 6th graders. 6th graders will need a sports physical before they can tryout. So if you have a 6th grader or know of one, please pass on this information!
Volleyball Open Gyms are starting Monday, July 1st for all 6-12 Grade girls.

West J did not host any home track meets this year to have a "Senior Night," but these athletes will be competing in their final district meet this Thursday and Friday at Firth HS.
We wish them luck in all that they do!

Guys & Dolls:
Set in Depression-era Times Square, Guys and Dolls is about a couple of big city gamblers and the women who love them. It tells the overlapping stories of high-roller Sky Masterson, who falls in love with mission worker Sarah Brown, and lovable rapscallion Nathan Detroit, engaged for 14 years to Miss Adelaide, a headliner at the Hot Box Club. Nathan runs a famous floating crap game, and an ongoing plot line involves his quest for a safe place for the game as Adelaide continues her quest to convince him to marry her. Meanwhile, Sarah, mistakenly believing that Sky set up an illegal game at the mission, tries to fight her affection for the charismatic crapshooter.

ATTENTION (NEXT YEAR'S) HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL PLAYERS & PARENTS!
Coach Hall and his staff have put together some Spring Training & Activities that are important for all athletes that are wanting to play high school football this fall.
The "Install" Dates are really important, as the coaches will be teaching offense and defense for the upcoming season.
Parents are invited to attend the Signing Day & Dinner on May 10 starting at 4:00pm as part of the "Lock-In" on May 10th. There will also be an optional game that parents can participate in.
The Youth Camp on May 11th is open to all current K-7th graders (football players or those who would like to try out the sport. Boys & Girls!) Camp attendees are not limited to West J kids, so if there are cousins, grandkids, or friends that want to come, they are welcome!
