Our high school wrestling program is doing a fundraiser to earn money toward fees for overnight tournament travel. Please contact any wrestler or wrestling coach to purchase some jerky. This makes great gifts for teachers, neighbors, friends, and family! Also, jerky makes THE BEST stocking stuffer!

Celebrating a Monumental Achievement for a West Jefferson Legend! 🌟

As our high school wrestling season gets underway, we want to share a fantastic video honoring one of our very best!

Long-time science teacher and coach, Mark Sawicki, was inducted into the Idaho Chapter of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame in May 2025! We just received the full 15-minute video of his introduction and acceptance speech and couldn't wait to share it with everyone.

We are incredibly proud to call "Coach Sawicki" one of our own. Thank you for choosing to spend your career at West Jefferson and for enhancing the lives of so many people in our community.

A huge thank you also goes out to his amazing wife, Val, for her years of dedication to Terreton Elementary and to the Panther Wrestling community. What a dynamic duo!

Our Girls Wrestling Team participated in a Take Down Tournament at Ririe this week (which is similar to a Jamboree). They will start competing on Friday, December 12th & 13th in Marsh Valley.

For the HS Boys Basketball Jamboree that will be held at West Jefferson, no community athletic passes or state cards will be accepted.

Entrance fees are $3 for students and $5 for adults. The ticket taker will be located in the Panther Den. All patrons will need to pay there. Paid stamps will be checked at the high school for entrance into the Legacy Gym.

(H) will be the Home team in white jerseys.

The combined Hamer Elementary and Terreton Elementary Veteran's Day Program
will be held in the Panther Den (Big Gym) on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at 2:00pm.
(This is a change in location from previous announcements.)
